Isle of Man's annual Tynwald Day Celebrations - Tynwald Day is a continuation of the Viking Althing that has taken place on the Isle of Man for 1000 years. It is where Tynwald (the Manx Parliament) read out all the laws in English and Gaelg and anyone can present their petitions. We set up a village in the woodland beside the fair field and receive dignitaries and thousands of members of the public.

Tues 07Jul2026 schools visiting
Wed 08Jul2026 schools visiting
Schools visiting 2 hrs each am and pm. Talks at various LHE set ups. Followed by weapons display.
No archery.
Financial support available is £100 per person paid after the show.
Transport - The boat (https://www.steam-packet.com/) leaves from Liverpool or Heysham and arrives in Douglas. We can arrange a lift to the show if you come as a foot passenger. Please tell the ferry company that you have weapons when you book.
Plastic camp and caravan parking is available. We'll confirm closer to the time. Showers will be available.
