Event Details
Blaeddau Du has been approached to support ‘CeltFest’ at Afon Mêl Honey Farm & Meadery in New Quay, Ceredigion. This is the first time that Afon Mêl will be running their own festival.
The client is looking for a small LH encampment displaying crafts and life on camp, Arena with Show and Tell, Combat Displays (inc Archery/Missiles), Kiddie Vike.
The focus for the client is all about keeping crafts alive and the Celtic identity, so has asked that as many crafts as we can show should be on display.
This is two-day show, arrival on the Friday for set up and departure on the Monday.
Plastic (with public camping) and LH (in festival area) is available, there is space for campervans, it is not suitable for caravans due to site access from the road.
Once the ‘show time’ for the re-enactors is finished (probably 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday), the re-enactors will be free to enjoy the rest of the festival.
There will be traders, food stalls, bar, feasting tent, live music – please see link for details: https://www.afonmel.com/celtfest/
If you would like to know more about this Festival please follow this link Celt Fest - a gathering of kindred spirits, a celebration of Celtic culture, creativity, and community.
If you are interested in attending then please do reach out to me (Steve Bryant) – it will be a small show in terms of the Viking presence.
No dogs allowed as this is a working farm.
