The Vikings are back for a full scale invasion of Ushaw Historic House over the weekend on 27th-28th September 2025. Come and see the period living history village, with demonstrations of dark age crafts. Talk to the Vikings and learn what life was like in the year 937. Watch full contact combat as the Vikings demonstrate combat techniques and then recreate the Battle of Brunanburgh in the year 937 AD, and which some historians think happened only 5 miles or so away at the Roman Fort crossing the River Brownie.
