Erewash Museum and Gardens are holding a Viking Week. On Saturday, the 9th of August, the museum will be hosting the Great Heathen Army! Come and see how the Vikings and Saxons lived and fought in the 10th Century. The Viking village will be open from 11 am until 4 pm. There will be two weapons displays in the arena at 12 pm and 2 pm. There will also be a chance for the young visitors (11 and under) to have a go at facing off with the Viking warriors!
