Galloway Longfhada are scouting out the village of Carmunnock looking for a place to settle. An advance party with the Cluaran boat will spend the day before finding out about everyday life from the school pupils, and preparing a welcome for this event. "The Vikings" will arrive for the local Gala on Saturday. We hope that the siege of Dumbarton rock taking place further away on the Clyde at the same time will not prejudice the locals against our smaller party of fishermen, traders, and crafters - but we will not forget our swords and axes just in case there are, ...misunderstandings.
