Come join Morvleydh as they take you on a journey back to the 9th Century; a time when Viking ships prowled the seas and the Kingdoms of Kernow and Wessex fought one another in ferocious battles. There will be a living history encampment showing what daily life was like for people living in this time, while our experienced reenactors can tell you all about this critical moment in Cornish history. In our arena we will have a weapons display in the morning, showcasing the tools of warfare for the people of the time and then, in the afternoon, under 10s will be able to try their hand at the shieldwall and face our ferocious vikings in (simulated) combat!.
